Marc Levy sponsors the 2022 Festival of Francophones Authors in America

After the success of the first edition, which brought together authors from several continents, the 2022 edition of the Festival of Francophone Authors in America will take place on November 22nd in New York City.

The event, sponsored by author Marc Levy, will take place at the prestigious National Arts Club, which since 1898 has welcomed artists and brought art lovers together. The 2022 Festival pays tribute to the Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry with the edition of a book, designed by the authors of the Rencontre des Auteurs Francophones network on this occasion.

As in 2021, authors will have a space to present and sign their books and meet the public of enthusiasts. A unique literary meeting with authors with diverse roots from Quebec, the United States, Europe, the Caribbean but also from the Middle East or Africa who passionately defend the French language.

The Festival is organized by the Rencontre des Auteurs Francophones platform, created in New York in 2020 by Sandrine Mehrez Kukurudz, former journalist, event producer and author, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Francophonie. She wanted to use 25 years of expertise in communication and her love of French-language literature to offer authors and their publishing houses new visibility in a world of books where it is so difficult to exist.

Initially designed to promote French-speaking authors in the United States, the organization quickly expanded internationally by welcoming authors and publishers from all continents. Today, Rencontre des Auteurs Francophones is developing in other countries.

The platform’s mission is to help promote books in French around the world and to highlight the authors selected by the reading committees thanks to the many communication tools put in place throughout the year.
